    Our small rural district is located in the beautiful Bear River Valley in southeast Idaho close to the Wyoming and Utah borders. 

     Soda Springs is the center of a great outdoor recreation area. It is the second oldest city in Idaho and was founded in 1863 on the Oregon Trail.

     The Soda Springs School District has award winning educational programs and strong leadership. The District has developed effective partnerships with local business and industry.

     The District is one of the first in Idaho to utilize full range video interactive "Distance Learning" to enhance the education of the students.  The community sentiment towards education is very positive.
