Jim Stoor, Chairman (Zone #5)

Mr. Stoor was elected to the Board in 2004.  He was born in Soda Springs and moved to Wayan at the age of six.  He was raised on a working cattle ranch, attended rural elementary school in Wayan and graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1985.  He worked in Nevada for awhile but leapt at the chance to move his family home to Wayan in 2000.  He and his wife, Jill, have 4 wonderful children---three daughters and one son.  He attended Ricks College and received an associate degree in Animal Science with a specialized certificate in Beef Management.  It was his goal to leave school and start ranching.  Currently, he has only been able to do that as his hobby but hopes someday to ranch full time.  He is employed as a mill operator for JR Simplot Company at their Smoky Canyon Mine located northwest of Afton, Wyoming.  Outside of his job, he helps his parents on the ranch.  He enjoys working with cattle and horses and all that it involves.  He also enjoys hunting with his son and extended family and summer camping reunions.

Alan Erickson, Vice Chairman (Zone #2)

Mr. Erickson was appointed to the Board August 2006 filling the position vacated by Perry Shumway.  He was raised in Soda Springs and then moved to Arizona for 14 years.  Erickson volunteered numerous summers coaching Little League.  He also assisted the coaches with the track program at Soda Springs High School. Mr. Erickson is currently employed at Monsanto Corporation.

James Smith, Trustee (Zone #1)

Mr. Smith was elected to the Board in 1996.  He was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah.  He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Utah State University.  Mr. Smith is currently employed at Monsanto as Purchasing Manager.  He is the father of four children and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his family.

Mark Dooley, Trustee (Zone #3)

Mr. Dooley was elected to the Board in 2001.  He was raised in Cut Bank, Montana.  He has a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a master's degree in environmental engineering from Brigham Young University. Mr. Dooley is currently employed at Monsanto as a Human Resources Supervisor.  He is the father of five children and enjoys family camping, hunting and fishing.

Ms. Lee was elected to the Board in 2000.  She was raised in Twin Falls, Idaho, and moved to Soda Springs in 1979.  She graduated from Twin Falls High School and attended adult business classes at Idaho State University.  She is the mother of three children and grandmother of four.  She and her husband have been self-employed, Denny Lee's Tire, since 1985.  She is serving her first term on the Soda Springs City Council.  She enjoys gardening and collecting teapots and Santa Clauses.
