Media Center Hours:

Monday through Thursday
7:00 am - 5:00 pm

Book Checkout:

Students may checkout 3 books at one time provided they have no overdue books or fines.

Most books may be checked out for two weeks with one additional renewal period, if needed.

Reference books are not generally checked out, however, in extenuating circumstances the materials may be checked out at 4:00 pm and returned by 8:00 am the next day.

Note: If a student has overdue materials or library fines, checkouts may be suspended until fines are cleared and/or overdue books returned.

Library Fines:

$0.10 per day for any overdue book, maximum $10.00.
$0.10 per hour for overnight checkout material.
$1.00 for lost or damaged bar code.
Replacement cost for damaged or lost books.

Printing and Copying:

Students may make up to ten copies of pages of non-circulating materials used in a research project, i.e., encyclopedias, etc.
Students will pay $0.10 per page for any additional copies.
Personal copies are $0.10 per page--this includes class notes, application materials, etc.

Printing from the computer for research purposes or scholarship applications is allowed with permission from the Media Specialist or a teacher.
Each student must receive permission before printing any document.

Note: No personal printing from the Media Center computers is allowed.

Computer Use Policies:

Each student must have a signed (by student and parent) Computer Use Agreement on file in the office before being allowed to use the Internet.

Each student is required to adhere to the Computer Use Agreement. This includes using the computers for school purposes only-no downloading, no playing of games, no changing settings on the computers, etc.

Note: Failure to abide by the Computer Use Agreement will result in loss of computer privileges.
